Use the map filters to show only "Free" campgrounds. Look for USFS and BLM areas which often have free dispersed camping options. Check the campground details for specific pricing information.

What's included with Premium (Hidden Gems)?

Premium subscribers get access to exclusive user-submitted camping spots, the ability to submit their own hidden gems, offline map access, and priority support. Premium costs $2.99/month.

How accurate are the GPS coordinates?

Our coordinates come from official government databases (USFS, BLM, NPS) and are regularly updated. User-submitted locations are verified when possible. Always use caution when navigating to remote areas.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes! Premium users can download map areas for offline use. Basic campground information is cached for offline viewing, but real-time features require internet connection.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Your premium access will continue until the end of your billing period.

Can I submit corrections to campground information?

Yes! Use the "Check In" feature to leave reviews and updates about current conditions. For major data corrections, please contact us through this support form.

What if I find a campground that's permanently closed?

Please report closed campgrounds through this support form or by leaving a "Check In" review. We update our database regularly based on user reports and official sources.

Is Dispersed available for Android?

Currently Dispersed is available on iOS with Android support planned for the future. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when Android version launches.

How do you verify user-submitted Hidden Gems?

Premium users can submit hidden gems which go through a community moderation process. We verify locations when possible and remove any that violate Leave No Trace principles or land use regulations.

Do you have campgrounds outside the United States?

Currently Dispersed focuses exclusively on US public lands (USFS, BLM, National Parks). International expansion may be considered in the future based on user demand.
