About Schoolhouse Cg

Located on central Arizona's largest lake, great water recreation opportunities are available to the public at Schoolhouse Campground. Its close proximity to the lake, means that campers at Schoolhouse can enjoy fishing, non-motorized and motorized boating, along with shoreline hiking trails. There are plenty of campsites available at Schoolhouse, providing an easy, quick escape duany time of the year for families and individuals. This campground offers 40 campsites within Mesquite Loop, which can accommodate RVs, trailers, and multi-vehicle parking. Each individual campsite has the capacity to hold 10 individuals and 3 vehicles, while the double campsites can hold up to 20 individuals with 6 vehicles. Most sites offer pull through parking, a shade ramada, picnic tables, and campfire rings with grills. This site also offers fully accessible campsites with paved parking and stand-up grills. During June, July, and August temperatures reach well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
