About Ferry Lake

Ferry Lake Campground is a 9-unit fee campground located off the beaten path, but easily accessible campground that offers tranquil camping and good lake fishing. Each campsite has a parking spur, table, and fire ring. The campground has a mix of nice tent sites, camper/van sites, and small motorhome/trailer sites. Large RVs are not recommended due to the size of the turn-around at the end of the campground road. There are two outhouses and a boat launch for small watercraft. With its handful of small shaded campsites and a ban on internal combustion engines, the lake is quiet enough to hear ducks and loons calling to each other across the lake. The lake is regularly stocked with catchable-size Rainbow Trout. Late spring to early summer is the best time to fish this secluded and serene location. Two-pole fishing is allowed, but to protect breeding loons, it is unlawful to use lead weights or lead jigs that measure 1.5 inches or less along the longest axis. A public boat launch is located at the end of the campground. Swan Lake and Fish Lake are available within 3 miles for nice day trip fishing excursions. Wildflowers and huckleberry's are major attractions that bring visitors to the area. The nearest location for groceries and fishing supplies is 14 miles away in Republic, Washington.
