Trail Creek is located along the East Fork of the South Fork Salmon River at approximately 5,000 ft. elevation. Access to the campground is by Forest Rd. 39N08, off of paved County Rd. 1C02 (Callahan-Cecilville Rd). The campground has 12 campsites that are well-shaded, vault toilets, and potable water. The nearby Trinity Alps and Russian Wildernesses provide plenty of hiking and fishing opportunities.
