About Gates
Gates Group Campground is located on the east shore of French Meadows Reservoir in a coniferous forest. Campground is in close proximity to the Granite Chief Wilderness. Group sites can accomodate RVs or tents. Features are cooking grills, campfire rings with benches, serving and eating tables, and lots of tent space. Black Bear (in Coyote Group Campgrounds) has a flush restroom and is designed for accessibility. All other sites have vault toilets. All group sites have piped water.
