Kite Lake Campground is located 5.5 miles northwest of Alma on CR 8. It has five campsites and none are recommended for trailers. Camping season begins in May and continues until the road is snowed in. Facilities include fire ring, tables, and outhouse toilets, but there is no water and no trash service at this campground. Campsites at Kite Lake are first-come, first-serve.
