The campground offers 70 single-family sites, some of which are accessible. Sites range from shaded by large trees to very open. Several sites overlook the Truckee River, while other sites are adjacent to Highway 89. All sites are a short walking distance to the river. Seven sites are designated for tent-camping only. These sites are a short walk-in and adjacent to Highway 89. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, grill and bear box for storage of food, pet food and other scented items. Firewood is available at the host site. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Roads within the campground are paved. Highway 89 road noise can be heard. Most single family sites and group campgrounds can be reserved at www.recreation.govor (877) 444-6777. No camping or campfires allowed outside of developed campgrounds.
