About Cape Perpetua Campground And Group Campground

Cape Perpetua Campground is in the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area off Highway 101. Nestled along the banks of Cape Creek, surrounded by large sitka spruce, Douglas fir, and alder trees, this campground provides visitors easy access to recreation sites in the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area. Many sites in the campground are situated along the creek and each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. A 23-mile trail system surrounds the campground, leading through dense old-growth forests and to rocky coastal overlooks. Hiking trails that lead to the Giant Spruce, Cape Visitor Center, tidepools, and St. Perpetua (one of the best views on the Oregon Coast) can be accessed from the campground. The Cape Perpetua Visitor Center is a short, moderate hike from the campground. The center has an outdoor viewing deck with phenomenal ocean views.
