About Timon
The Timon Campground has seven campsites located in Little Spearfish Canyon, adjacent to Little Spearfish Creek. Little Spearfish Trailhead is nearby and is a non-motorized 6-mile loop that meanders through stands of ponderosa pine, quaking aspen, and paper birch. Spectacular views of limestone cliffs are complimented by the ambiance of Little Spearfish Creek at both the campground and along the trail. Details
Fees: Overnight Use: Single Site: $24 per night
Season: Campground is operated by the consessionair from the weekend before Memorial Day to the weekend after Labor day. Sites may remain open in the off season but there are no services. The road to the campground closes on Dec 1st to accomodate the snowmobile trail.
