About Klein Lake

Klein Lake is a beautiful and quiet lake, ideal for fishing and canoeing. The campsites are located all around the lake, and are all drive-in sites. There is on-site supervision. Cell phone reception is hit and miss in most of the campsite. This lake is home to the rare and endangered Western Painted Turtle, please keep your dog on a leash. There are docks around the lake to prevent degradation of the lakeshore, where the turtles nest. The site is open over the off-season, fees are in effect from April to October. This is a CASH ONLY site. For additional information and updates, contact the Egmont Community Club at tomdawnecc@gmail.com Take Highway 101 north from Langdale to the Egmont turn off. Follow the Egmont road towards Skookumchuk Narrows for about 1 km and turn right onto the North Lake Forest Service Road. Stay right at the Y intersection which leads into the site.
