Refund Policy

Our Policy

All Dispersed Premium purchases are final. Except where required by applicable law, we do not offer refunds or credits for subscription purchases or renewals.

We make one exception: if the product or service you paid for is defective and we are unable to fix it, we will make it right — including issuing a refund where appropriate.

What Qualifies for a Refund

We consider a purchase defective when the paid product did not work as promised. Examples include:

  • You were charged for Premium but the subscription was never applied to your account.
  • The app is crashing or unusable on your supported device, and we are unable to resolve the issue.
  • A core Premium feature (offline maps, Trip Planner, Site Intelligence, MVUM roads) is broken and we are unable to fix it in a reasonable time.
  • You were billed in error, such as a duplicate charge.

If something isn't working, contact us first — most issues can be fixed quickly, and we would rather fix your problem than lose you as a camper.

What Does Not Qualify

  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal. Renewal dates are shown where you manage your subscription, and cancelling is easy (see below). Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Not using the subscription, or no longer needing it (for example, after a trip ends).
  • Dissatisfaction that is not related to a defect, such as personal preference about features or coverage in a specific area.
  • Issues caused by unsupported devices or operating system versions.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals — your Premium access continues until the end of your current billing period. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date (or before your free trial ends).

How to Request a Refund

Where you purchased determines who processes your refund:

  • Apple App Store: Apple handles all billing for App Store purchases, and refunds must be requested directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to issue refunds for purchases made through Apple.
  • Google Play: request a refund through Google Play's refund process, or contact us through our support form and we will review your request under this policy.
  • Our website: web purchases are processed by our payment partner, Paddle, acting as merchant of record. Submit your request through our support form with the email address on your account and a description of the issue. You can also reach Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net.

Refund requests under this policy are reviewed individually. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. We reserve the right to refuse refunds where we find evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived. If you are in a jurisdiction that provides a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right for digital purchases — for example, the 14-day withdrawal right in the EU, EEA, and UK — that right applies as provided by law. Where local law or this policy provide different levels of protection, the higher level of protection applies. For website purchases, statutory refund rights are honored by Paddle as merchant of record in accordance with the Paddle Refund Policy.

Free Trials

Premium starts with a free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you do not cancel, the subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and the charge is subject to this policy.
