About Kane Lake

CASH ONLY - This campsite has been expanded to include a new equine area with very large campsites with incredible views of the valley. The original Kane Lake Development has all sizes of camping pads so motorhomes to tents can be accommodated. The new Equestrian area allow for Equine use as the priority for these sites however, in busy times all campers have access to these sites if the campground is full. Harmon Lake East and Harmon Lake West recreation sites are directly adjacent to this campsite. A great family environment with a 24-7 site host located at the adjacent Harmon Lake East recreation site. Located in the beautiful Kane Valley, this very popular recreation site is used by all types of outdoor recreationalists. The nearby Harmon Lake Forest Interpretive Trail allows hikers to walk on the southeast side of Harmon Lake and learn about forestry and wildlife. The adjacent 50+ kilometres of the Kane Valley cross country ski trails can also be explored. On occasion there are weekend interpretive shows at the outdoor amphitheatre. The fees for services are determined based on a detailed analysis of historical seasonal weather patterns. Site operators possess the flexibility to modify the specific dates for fee collections, allowing for adjustments within the established parameters. This adaptability is particularly important, as it enables them to respond effectively to varying weather conditions that may impact operations. Located about 20 minutes drive south of Merritt. Drive 17.5 kilometres south along highway 5A on your way to Kelowna. Look for the large highway signs indicating the turn off. Turn right onto the Kane Valley Road and drive for 9 km until you see the sign. Turn a sharp left and you are at this 10 unit campsite.
