About Noralee West
This 4-unit campground, not far from Noralee East, offers a gravel boat launch and one outhouse. The site is right on the shoreline of Francois Lake with a nice gravel beach area. It is easily accessed off Colleymount Rd. and is spacious enough for RV's/Trailers. There are several fish species available in Francois Lake for anglers. Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf Near Burns Lake, from Hwy 16 drive south on Hwy 35 for ~22 km to the tee-junction with Colleymount Road. Turn right on Colleymount and travel west for ~50.9 km to the site. Site is on the lakeshore on your left and marked with a 3 blade sign. Site is about 59km from Northbank (Francois Lake) ferry terminal, Colleymount road is paved until 30km and gravel after that.
