Manson Lake
About Manson Lake
This site is located in an open environment on the shores of Manson Lake, near the community of Manson Creek. The basic amenities of a pit toilet, tables and fire rings are provided. A small gravel boat launch is available for car top and small trailered boats. The lake can offer some decent angling opportunities for lake trout, rainbow trout, bull trout and white fish. Please note that this site is 160 km from Mackenzie, so come prepared for a remote experience. Despite the remote nature of the site, it is a popular camping spot. From Mackenzie, head south and turn on to the Causeway Road and turn left at the T just off the highway. After crossing the bridge, keep right and merge with the Finlay North FSR at ~20km. At approx 99km turn left onto the Manson FSR. The site is located about 55km along the Manson on the left side of the road (the site is immediately adjacent to the road, keep an eye out for the site entrance sign).
