This recreation site is ideal for the dedicated angler who dares to brave a strong insect presence and swampy waters. A boat is required to fish. Buy a fishing licence, read the regulations and view fish stocking reports HERE. There are a good number of recreational activities to take advantage of in the area including Mt. Morrisey Cross Country Ski Trails, Tod Mountain Snowmobile Trails, Mcgillivray Lake West Rec Site, Morrisey Lake East Rec Site and Sun Peaks Resort. Please use the site responsibly. As per the Forest Recreation Regulations; Camping is limited to a maximum of 14 consecutive days per visit. No reserving or holding of campsites, no unoccupied trailers, tents, chairs, vehicles may save a site or reserve it for others. All sites are first come, first serve. Camping is only permitted in the designated camping spots. All dogs must be on a leash at all times (for all Kamloops Recreation Sites). Access Little McGillivary Lake by taking the McGillivary FSR from Pritchard Sun Peaks.
