About Lakit Lake

A small, partially treed site on a shallow, man-made lake. Evidence of an old corduroy road on the lake bottom. Commencing at the Fort Steele Historic Park, proceed north on Hwy 93/95 for 1.6 km. Turn right onto Holmes Road. Continue north on Holmes Road for 5.3 km. Turn right onto Brewery Creek Road. Follow this rough, 2 wheel drive road for 4 km. The recreation site is on the right and visible from the road.
