About Eagle Pass Ridge
EAGLE PASS FIRE LOOKOUT CLOSED The lookout tower is unsafe for public use. This large area has a historic fire lookout and trails which meanders over timbered slopes, sub-alpine and alpine terrain to up to an old Federal Government Fire lookout. Caution - grizzly bear habitat. Approx +/- 27 km from Sicamous or +/- 45 km from Revelstoke , then North onto Crazy Creek Forest Service Road for +/- 8.6 km and north again onto a logging road for +/- 5 km to the trail head. These are logging roads be cautious of industrial traffic and work. Logging activity as of June 2015 has improved access to the trail head.
