The area is home to a robust bear and wolf population, which we work hard to keep from becoming habituated to human contact. Please be respectful and do not approach any animals, regardless of how friendly they seem. There is a policy of "pack out what you pack in" and if you choose NOT to utilize the provided washroom facilities, please ensure you do your business below the tide line. Given the sensitive ecosystem, we ask that you DO NOT dig holes or defecate within the upland areas. Thank you
