About Buck Creek Lower

Lower Buck Creek is located approximately 30 minutes southwest of Silver Lake, Oregon. For back-country solitude, look no further than Lower Buck Creek. This small, secluded campground is located in a small valley adjacent to Buck Creek, nestled next to a riparian meadow. This campground has five camping sites, picnic tables, fire rings, and one vault toilet. The meadow, and access to the creek is accessed through a small gate next to the vault toilet. Lower Buck Creek is ideal for wildlife viewing (deer and elk), photography, and relaxing. You can also fish for trout in the creek and stroll along the perennial stream that flows from Yamsay Mountain. There is no; potable water. Visitors need to pack plenty of water, and pack in and out any refuse.
