About Richmond Lake

Located between Burns Lake and Endako this semi-open, forested 4-unit campground is situated on a small but beautiful crystal clear blue lake. The campsites are relatively small but road access is good on a maintained road a short distance from Hwy 16. This lake is stocked by Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC and produces good size rainbow trout. A steep gravel boat launch exists. Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf Near Burns Lake, from Hwy 16 turn east on Priestly Access Road on the north side of the highway. Stay right at the V in the road at about 1km, Priestly Access Road turns into Richmond Lake FSR - a well-maintained gravel road. Follow for 3.8 km to the campground.
