About Old Fort

Set on the shores of Babine Lake near Granisle, this four unit campground boasts a small gravel boat launch, picnic tables, fire rings and 1 outhouse. Babine Lake boasts a variety of fish species, including sockeye salmon fishing if there is an opening. The semi-open, forested site is ideal for boating, fishing, swimming and picnicking at this historical site with a gravel beach. This site is user maintained so please pack out what you pack in! Please avoid driving on the shoreline as this is sensitive fish habitat. In Canada, fish habitat is protected under the Federal Fisheries Act. Any alteration, disruption or destruction of fish habitat is a violation of the Fisheries Act.
