About Kitseguecla Lake

A semi-open, forested recreation site with 7 campsites on a popular fishing lake with mountain views near the town of Smithers. Spectacular views of the Rocky Ridge Mountain Range can be had from the north end of the lake with good paddling/boating and fishing for cutthroat trout. Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf From Highway 16 turn onto Kitseguecla Loop Road and follow that for 750 meters to the left turn (over the railroad tracks) for Kitseguecla Lake Road. Turn right at the signboard and follow this road for approximately 3km to the site, the access road to the site is located on the left hand side of the road and you will see Kitseguecla Lake on your left while enroute to this site.
