About Lintz Lake

This popular site is located on the shores of Lintz Lake and offers space for 9 camping parties amongst a mixed forest, including some beautiful Douglas fir trees. The basic amenities of tables, fire rings and pit toilets are provided. There is a gravel boat launch that is suitable for both car-top and trailered boats. The lake is stocked annually with Pennask and/or Blackwater strain rainbow trout. The lake is a very popular fishing destination. Although the fishing can be challenging, persistent anglers may be rewarded with some nice sized trout. *The Pelican FSR is currently closed at km 42 due to a bridge closure, no estimated time of reopening. Alternative access available via Blackwater to Batinuni to Pelican* Travel west of Prince George and turn left on to the Blackwater Rd - proceed 21kms and then turn right on to the Pelican FSR. The site is located at 58.4km. Alternatively this site can be accessed from the Bobtail FSR, 35 minutes west of PG, turn off the hwy (left) and travel 20km, then turn left onto the Blackwater Road (travel 30km), this will connect you to the Pelican FSR at 35.5km.
