About Stony Lake North
This site is located on a beautiful open beach on the shores of Stony Lake. The gradually sloped beach makes for a good natural boat launch, and the beach also offers good opportunities for swimming. There is ample space for 4 camping parties, and the basic amenities of fire rings, tables and a pit toilet are provided. The lake offers good fishing opportunities for rainbow trout, kokanee and lake trout. Please note that set lines are not permitted in Stony Lake. From Highway 97, turn onto the Naver Creek (700) Road at Dunkley Mill. Follow this road for approximately 58km and turn left onto the Willow-Stony Road. Follow this road and keep to the right when you reach a junction. Proceed along this road and this will be the second rec site you reach along the right side of the road.
