Fishtrap Creek Recreation Site is a great place to begin exploring the nearby Seven Sisters Equestrian Trails. Sites offer nearby corrals and a main group corral surrounding the shelter. Be aware of the Skull Mountain Motor Vehicle Prohibition in the area. North of McLure on the west side of the North Thompson River, access is via Westsyde road from either Kamloops or Barriere.
