Camping on the shores of the Squamish River. Campsites are open sandy areas and there is one rustic outhouse. There are no picnic tables at this site. Stay on this road for several km's, over the train tracks, and then over a bridge which spans the Cheakamus river. The road will fork, stay left. Stay on the left fork for several km's. The pavement will end at an open gate. Continue on the dirt road for 28kms until the Elaho FSR turnoff (left) and head over the bridge that crosses the river. After the bridge, turn right at the sign for Elaho Rec Site and enter at any of the turnoffs into the site on the righthand side.
